DRAIN VALVE CONVERSION

By default commercial washers come with a pump and this pump will discharge the dirty water via a drain hose. For most people this works perfectly fine as they are only washing personals, towels and other standard laundry.

Since we work with a lot of vet practices and other businesses that look after dogs, cats and other animals we understand that fur can build up in the pump and prevent it from operating properly. When the washing machine is unable to drain from the machine then it will result in an error or fault and prevent it from completing the cycle.

If you are a vet practice or other industry that works with animals, we can do what we call a drain valve conversion on the washer. This involves removing the pump and replacing it with a drain valve that will instead dump the water through a pipe connected to the back of the washer, giving you peace of mind that fur build up will not be an issue moving forward.

* While we do perform the drain valve conversion in the warehouse prior to installation, we will not be able to complete installation on site, the customer is responsible for engaging a plumber to complete installation, connecting the pipe from the machine to drainage on site.
